Behind Every Triggered Gun

Whenever there comes up a case of harassment, molestation, or any kind of atrocities against women in India, whoever might be the cause and whatever might be the effect, the wearing of women stands up to be the triggering force behind the shot bullet. Best ever instance is drawn from our very moving mythology, public disrobing of Drapadi which ultimately led to Mahabharat. There is always hue and cry about the codes and conduct of dressing for an Indian woman in name of tradition and culture. Those who talks too much of how women should dress physically, better should think of how men should dress mentally. It’s astounding as well ghastly that how a man learns to value the woman on terms of her clothing not as a wonderful creature or a respectful self. If some wearing of a woman is unconvincing for you, you have every right to raise your eyebrows or rather to close your eyes but you are never entitled to tap at her without her interest even if she goes naked. For a while, I place myself as a man to look at women from male side. I m more convinced now that problem is with man’s mental dressing than woman’s physical. A man sees his mother as mother, sister as sister and daughter as daughter not being conditioned by their cloth. Then why to see others’ mother and sister as sexual treats? And moreover how it makes a different if a woman hangs up a mini skirt or drapes up a saree when a man justly respects a woman for what she is not for what she wears. If wearing certain cloth is the foremost reason behind attacks against women then no single woman in foreign would walk un-abused,un-raped. If I am not wrong I guess that unfateful episode of Draupadi's  public disrobing still rushes in bloods of Indian men. Now they behave exactly like the two coteries of Pandavs and Kauravs. Like Pandavs, the former coterie of men witness, realize the indecency of  disrobing of their woman but show their helplessness and carelessness behind the mishappening. Like Kauravs, the later coterie of men don't even know what they do, and the possible consequences of such lewd disrobing of other's woman.

It is a disorder with Indian psychology and Indian men-folk since ever. But it's your responsibility to take care of your status as an ill-bred or a good-bred man. We admire you, Men. You too learn to do us before time.
